Taijah trained for weeks for this competition. On this day she came to prove a point. And that she did. She did not throw as far as she expected but with a 7.24 m shot throw she inched into the next round of competition with hopes to redeem herself. ”I know I can do better”, she stated. “I know I can throw 30ft”, she declared. Coach Shae has been training her on technical difficulties for a few months and Taijah threw this meet with promising marks for future competition. She is expected to throw 8 meters next round.
