5 Medalists at the 2nd Florida Season Opener Feb. 09, 2019

Blue Streak Falcons showed improvement at the 2nd Florida Season Opener on February 09, 2019 where all athletes took home medals. Additionally, 4 athletes set new PB times for the season.

Starting with the Masters age group 30-35. A. Jermaine Haugabook ran decent Season Opener times in the 100m and 200m. Taking home bronze in the 200m running 24.32. And setting a new PB in the 100m clocking 11.83. Coach Sarah Tully ran in the Open women age 19-29 in the 100m and 200m. She took Gold in the 100m setting a season open time of 13.54. Coach Qu. Took Gold in the Masters Men’s 30-35 age group 400m with 57 sec. later he competed in the 200m taking 4th running 24.44. Jhaire in the Open Men’s 19-29 age group 1500m took Gold running a 6:38. . Our Highlight of the day was Double Gold Medalist Kyra Haugabook setting two new PB‘s in the youth girls 13-14 age group. In the 100m she clocked a 13.03. She later clocked a 26.77 in the 200m finals. It was a good way to start the season with expectations for new heights.
